About Dinny Hall

Dinny Hall, the Jeweller (photo Dan Stevens)Award winning jewellery designer, Dinny Hall founded the company in 1985. During the early years Dinny designed collections for many of the top fashion designers of the decade and soon became a darling of the glossy magazines. Dinny’s designs could be seen on covers of Harpers, Elle, Marie Claire, Vogue and countless other magazines and show cased in the worlds best stores such as Liberty London, Bergdorf Goodman and Barneys NYC, Lane Crawford Hong Kong and many more.

Now the brand ‘Dinny Hall’ has a team of expert sales assistants, goldsmiths and gemmologists all working to provide you with the best service possible, and with Dinny herself still designing all the jewellery.

Celebrity clients include Kirsten Dunst, Cate Blanchett, Elizabeth Hurley, Ralph Fiennes, Mariella Frostrup, Erin O'Conner, Emma Watson, Sarah Harding, Kate Middleton, Alexa Chung, Kate Winslet, Samantha Cameron and Lily Allen to name but a few, and the jewellery can be seen in several major movies such as 'Four Weddings and a Funeral', 'Bridget Jones' and 'Notes of a Scandal'.

Dinny graduated from Central St Martins in 1983 with a degree in jewellery design and soon after set up a studio workshop in London's Soho. Throughout the 1980s Dinny's jewellery was sold to prestigious stores in the UK, USA, Hong Kong and Japan. During this time she also collaborated with fashion designers Rifat Ozbeck, Izzac Mizrahi and Bruce Oldfield creating memorable catwalk collections.

In 1989 the international fashion press and the British Fashion Council voted her Accessory Designer of the year. Her continued recognition by the fashion press has been confirmed further when Marie-Claire readers voted her Jewellery Designer of the year in 1996. This success has proved to be a solid foundation for the Dinny Hall brand which has become over the years synonymous with understated style and aesthetic quality.
